ASHWELL GLASSON is head of academic policy and sector advancement at the Southern African Wildlife College. He leads various projects involved in the broader SADC region focused on cross-border training and development in the conservation sector and Peace Parks. He holds an honours degree in peace and conflict studies. His research and policy interests include the militarisation of conservation, illegal wildlife trade, countering violent extremism and environmental security.
