2025 was a year of significant progress and consolidation for GGA as we advanced the implementation of our 10-year growth and expansion plan. Guided by our mission to improve the quality of life for African citizens, GGA strengthened its continental presence and achieved important milestones in research, advocacy, institutional development, and thought leadership. Building on our strategic partnership with Integrity Initiatives International (III), we expanded our role in the global campaign for the establishment of an International Anti-Corruption Court. We strengthened our collaboration with the African Union, advanced youth empowerment initiatives, and produced innovative research to support governance reform across Africa. Our achievements included expanding governance research across African cities and receiving international recognition for our publications. We also made meaningful progress in strengthening strategic partnerships, diversifying funding opportunities, raising GGA’s visibility, and advancing our long-term financial sustainability.
2024 was an important year for GGA. We marked our 10th anniversary and launched our 10-year growth and expansion plan. Guided by its mission to improve the quality of life for African citizens, GGA achieved significant milestones in research, advocacy, and thought leadership during the year. GGA entered a partnership with the Integrity Initiatives International (III) in one of our most significant collaborations in the fight against corruption. We produced impactful, innovative research outputs, and made substantial progress in implementing GGA’s strategy aimed at building financial sustainability, raising our visibility, and driving governance reform.
