Good Governance Africa (GGA) is pleased to announce that it will partner with ESG Africa Events to host the next ESG Africa conference.

The conference will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre from 6 to 8 September 2023, and will focus on topics linked to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance and its relevance in an African and developing world context, as well as the necessary leadership attitudes required in both the public and private sectors.

The meeting also hopes to foster a community of ESG/Sustainability experts who will network, learn, and keep engaged throughout the year.

This conference will also launch the ESG Awards, which will recognise and promote the exceptional work being done by organisations and sustainability practitioners throughout the continent.

Another innovation at this event will be speed-dating networking sessions that will allow sustainability experts to connect with one another, exchange ideas, and expand the community of practice in an intimate setting.

Webinars will cover a variety of ESG subjects, and a student research project will push students to come up with answers to critical ESG concerns.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Good Governance Africa to provide a conference that will fulfil the requirements of the target audience while also driving genuine change throughout the continent,” stated the ESG Africa Conference co-founder, Joshua Low. “We respect our partnership with GGA and look forward to collaborating on this great event.”
